THAT’S A WRAP
I must admit…I do not enjoy wrapping Christmas gifts. Perhaps that is because I tend to do it all at one time. Perhaps it’s because those little Gremlins run away with the scissors and tape every time I turn my back. Annoying because I have never actually seen the little buggars. I have therefore vowed to make this year different. I began with an honest effort to search for nice paper, not to just pick up a roll. I managed to find six different patterns in the same color combinations. No more bows in a bag either. I patiently selected pretty ribbon. Perhaps if I imagine gift wrapping as an element of interior decorating, I’ll have a bit more enthusiasm.
Hopefully, if you tend to be a gift wrap curmudgeon, these will have inspired you. My task this year will be to collect, throughout the year, bits and pieces to embellish the creations. This will require a designated place in the house for wrapping and storage. As well as a leash for scissors and tape. Wrapping a gift….chore or charm. We have plenty of chores so choose a little charm everyday because…
EVERY DAY MATTERS
